El Salvador beginnings

So many things have happened since my last post.

We have all moved into a big guest house in San Salvador and when i say all i mean all 18 students and our intern.
We eat all of our meals together and have the same one class together.

Class is a pretty great set up - we have a class session 2-3 days a week from 9-12, which isn't much but all the rest of our meetings, lectures and events are considered class as well, or should be included into our over all view of the class.

The mood and vibe here is completely different than Xela bcz
1. we are all living together
2. we are all taking the same class and in the same class session together
3. we have a siginificant amount of homework... or it seems like alot than in Xela
4. the class is in english... big change

a bit about San Sal....
there are seriously 4 or more burgerkings within walking distance, a huge mall, a KFC... so many fast food joints and so much capitalism.
San Sal is on the U.S. Dollar here. Some things are cheaper then the states, but pretty expensive all around... i actually feel like were in Southern Cal or some tropical U.S. State.

I love my class
Im not used to San Sal yet
i have 3 roommates
the roof here leaks on my bed.
there are geckos in our house, they just kinda hang out with us

yup.
